Reliance Consumer Products Signs ₹40,000 Crore Deal with Centre to Build AI-Driven Food Parks Across India.

Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL) has signed a ₹40,000-crore agreement with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to set up integrated food manufacturing facilities across India, sources said recently.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized during the World Food India 2025 event held in New Delhi.

The massive investment is part of Reliance Industries' broader strategy, first unveiled at its annual general meeting in August, to build “Asia’s largest integrated food parks” equipped with AI-driven automation, robotics, and sustainable technologies.

The upcoming facilities aim to boost India’s food processing infrastructure, enhance supply chains, and generate large-scale employment while aligning with the government’s focus on self-reliance and technological innovation in agriculture and food production.
