Reliance Consumer Products to Invest ₹1,156 Crore in New Manufacturing Unit in Tamil Nadu.

Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) is set to invest ₹1,156 crore in establishing an integrated manufacturing facility at the SIPCOT Allikulam Industrial Park in Thoothukudi district, according to State Industries Minister T.R.B. Rajaa.

Announcing the development on social media platform X, Rajaa wrote, "Another FMCG major chooses Tamil Nadu! Reliance Consumer Products Limited has chosen Tamil Nadu for its next big unit. The company will invest ₹1,156 crore to set up an integrated manufacturing facility at SIPCOT Allikulam Industrial Park!"

The upcoming facility will span 60 acres and is expected to generate around 2,000 jobs over the next five years, the minister added. The investment marks another significant boost to Tamil Nadu’s growing FMCG and manufacturing ecosystem.
