Reliance Industries JV to Invest $11 Billion in Andhra Pradesh Data Centre.

A joint venture backed by Reliance Industries will invest $11 billion over the next five years to build 1 gigawatt of AI data capacity in Andhra Pradesh, the companies and the state government announced recently.

The venture, named Digital Connexion, includes Canadian multinational Brookfield Corporation and U.S.-based real estate investment trust Digital Realty as partners.

The project will develop an AI-native data centre campus spread across 400 acres in Visakhapatnam, positioning the southern coastal city as a major hub for advanced digital infrastructure in India.
