Remsons-Uni Autonics, a prominent automobile components manufacturer, has secured a substantial order worth ₹30 crore to supply sensors to a leading automobile company. The order will be fulfilled over a period of three years, according to a company statement.
Amit Srivastava, CEO of Remsons-Uni Autonics, remarked, "The letter of intent to supply the sensors was issued after a rigorous selection process, reflecting the trust and confidence we have earned from a top-tier supplier in the auto industry."
This development follows the acquisition of a majority stake in the automotive sensor division of Uni-Automation by Ramson Industries in February. This strategic move has expanded Remsons' product offerings to both domestic and global customers. The automotive sensor market is experiencing significant growth due to the deep penetration of embedded technology in legacy platforms and the increased adoption of electric vehicles, which have higher per unit sensor requirements.
Remsons-Uni Autonics aims to leverage this new business opportunity to expand its market presence and strengthen its long-standing relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the evolving sensor landscape.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Remsons Industries specializes in manufacturing automotive OEM components. The company operates facilities in Gurgaon, Pune, Pardi, and Daman in India, as well as Stourport in the UK. Their expertise spans a wide range of auto components, including control cables, gear shifters, pedal boxes, winches, and jacks, catering to OEMs both within and outside India.
