Revanth Seeks JICA’s Support for Urban Infrastructure Projects in Telangana.
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has sought financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for several major urban infrastructure initiatives across the state.
Leading the official "Telangana Rising" delegation, Reddy outlined a series of high-impact projects including Phase 2 of the Hyderabad Metro Rail, the River Musi rejuvenation programme, the development of radial roads connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the upcoming Regional Ring Road (RRR), among others.
During his meeting with JICA Senior Vice President Shohei Hara on Thursday, Reddy presented a comprehensive overview of Telangana’s investor-friendly policies, the strategic advantages of Hyderabad as a global investment hub, and the large-scale infrastructure push underway in and around the city, according to an official statement.
