RIL Targets New Energy Operations Rollout Within 4-6 Quarters.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is poised to fully operationalize its ambitious new energy business within the next four to six quarters. This significant rollout will encompass manufacturing, the commencement of power generation, and the production of green chemicals, marking a major milestone for the conglomerate.

"New energy is effectively our next growth engine for Reliance," stated Karan Suri, Senior Vice President, New Energy, during the company's recent analyst presentation. Suri emphasized that the new energy platform is designed to be self-funded through its own profitability and future monetization efforts. He added that this strategic segment is expected to "deliver a perpetual perennial growth for Reliance and our shareholders."

RIL has already made significant strides in the new energy sector, having commenced the manufacturing of HJT (Heterojunction Technology) solar modules. Suri highlighted that these modules are "one of the largest in size for utility scale" and "one of the most efficient." He further assured that the company's commitment to innovation in this space is ongoing, with continuous efforts to "progress on the technology, innovating, increasing efficiency, reducing the cost."
