RInfra completes key NH stretch.

Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) said the four-laning of 63 km of the Trichy-Karur road of NH 67 in Tamil Nadu was complete and toll collection had begun.

The stretch has been built at a cost of Rs. 732 crore, and the contract to operate and maintain the road is for 30 years.

The corridor will see about 15,000 vehicles a day and the number is expected to double in the next four years.

'With the opening of Trichy-Karur corridor, we now have all of our six road projects worth Rs. 4,000 crore in Tamil Nadu operational,' said Sudhir R Hoshing, CEO (Roads), Reliance Infrastructure.
