RINL's blast furnace-3 at Vizag plant achieves rated capacity.

The blast furnace at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd's (RINL's) plant has achieved rated capacity.

'The blast furnace-3 has achieved rated capacity yesterday, which is a major step in its expansion project of 6.3 mtpa capacity,' a company release said here today.

'The blast furnace of 3800 cum volume produced 7,155 tonnes of hot metal against the rated capacity of 7,150 tonnes /day with a blast furnace productivity of 2.2 tonnes/per/cum/ day,' recently.
