RITES Signs MoU with MECON to Expand Business Collaboration.

RITES Ltd., a leading transport infrastructure consultancy firm, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MECON Ltd., a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, to identify business opportunities and jointly pursue projects across key infrastructure sectors.

The partnership aims to combine the complementary strengths of both organisations, with RITES bringing its extensive experience in transport infrastructure and engineering consultancy, while MECON contributes its expertise in the metal, mining, energy, and allied sectors.

Under the agreement, RITES and MECON will collaborate to explore consultancy assignments and infrastructure projects spanning railways, metro rail, highways, expressways, airports, ports, ropeways, bridges, tunnels, urban transport, energy, water resources, hydropower, wastewater management, and industrial infrastructure.

The collaboration will target opportunities in both domestic and international markets, leveraging the technical capabilities and sectoral knowledge of the two organisations to develop and deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.

The MoU is expected to strengthen cooperation between RITES and MECON and create new avenues for growth through joint participation in large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects.
