₹16,000-Crore Titanium Plant: Karan Adani Meets Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu.

A delegation led by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati recently to discuss a proposed titanium plant in Srikakulam district.

The proposed project entails an investment of ₹16,000 crore and is part of the Adani Group's plans to develop value-added products from beach sand minerals.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Chief Minister on beach sand mining and the products that can be manufactured from the minerals. The discussions also covered their industrial applications and market potential.

The proposed plant is expected to support the development of a value-added mineral processing ecosystem in the state, with further details on the project's implementation likely to emerge as the plans progress.
