Rustomjee wins Rs. 5,000 crore Abhyudaya Nagar project.

Rustomjee Developers has won the 33-acre Abhyudaya Nagar redevelopment project in south Mumbai, worth Rs. 5,000 crore, by getting the majority approval of 26 out of the 48 co-operative housing societies.

The Abhyudaya Nagar redevelopment scheme is one of the biggest cluster redevelopment projects in Mumbai.

'We are happy today to get the majority of the housing societies' trust. People believe in our work and brand, which we have developed over a period of time. Still, there are government approvals and other NOCs to secure. However, we are confident of completing this ambitious project,' Boman Irani, chairman, Rustomjee Group, told dna.
