"S3V Vascular Technologies Secures Funding for New Facility Establishment"
Renowned figures AM Naik, former Chairman of Larsen & Toubro, and veteran investor Madhusudan Kela have joined forces to provide Series B funding to S3V Vascular Technologies. The substantial investment is earmarked for the establishment of a cutting-edge integrated manufacturing facility, with an investment of ₹300 crore, dedicated to the production of neurovascular devices.
S3V Vascular Technologies Limited, headquartered in Mysore, stands at the forefront of medical device manufacturing. Badari Narayan, Promoter, Director, and CEO of S3V Vascular Technologies, expressed the company's commitment to pioneering NextGen devices in neuro, cardiac, and spine segments, thereby enhancing customer value and contributing to the future of healthcare.
"Our innovations resonate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s AYUSHMAN BHARATH program, emphasizing affordable healthcare and medico-engineering excellence," Narayan affirmed.
The timing of this investment is significant, given that approximately 90% of medical devices are currently imported into India, presenting a substantial growth opportunity for domestic manufacturers. Industry experts predict that the Indian medical devices market will soar to $50 billion by 2025, boasting an impressive annual growth rate of 15 to 20%, outpacing global trends.
With the backing of influential investors and a strategic focus on innovation and affordability, S3V Vascular Technologies is poised to make significant strides in reshaping the landscape of healthcare technology in India and beyond.
