Sahyadri College to Set Up Collaborative Industry Workspace in Mangaluru.

Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will inaugurate its ‘Industry Integrated Workspace’ on May 23, 2026, in a move aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia and industry while creating a future-ready innovation ecosystem for students.

According to a media statement, the new facility has been designed as a transformative platform where students can work directly with industry experts, participate in live projects, internships and freelancing assignments, and gain practical exposure to real-world technologies and business challenges.

The initiative plans to establish a 300-seat workspace and bring on board more than 20 industry partners to provide students with domain-specific learning and industry experience.

The institution said the workspace is intended to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional requirements by offering hands-on opportunities in emerging technologies and industry-led projects.
