Sarda Energy & Minerals Gets Green Nod to Operate Coal Handling Plant in Chhattisgarh.

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd has received Consent to Operate from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, Raipur, for its Coal Handling Plant at the Gare Palma IV/7 coal mine.

The approval, granted under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, allows the company to operate a 300 TPH (tonnes per hour) coal handling facility with an annual capacity of 18,00,000 metric tonnes.

The clearance marks a key milestone in the company’s operational expansion at the coal mine site.
