Sealy Expands Global Presence with New Manufacturing Facility in India.

Sealy, a leading global mattress brand, has officially opened its first manufacturing facility in India, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. Situated in Gosaiguda village near Hyderabad, the new facility will produce Sealy’s premium mattresses for the domestic market, including the renowned Posturepedic range.
Senior executives from Sealy International, including Executive Chairman and CEO Simon Dyer and Managing Director George Dyer, attended the inauguration ceremony, underscoring the company's commitment to the region.
According to a statement from the 143-year-old company, the Hyderabad location was selected due to its skilled workforce, proximity to suppliers, robust infrastructure, and efficient logistics network.
“This new facility will not only cater to the needs of our Indian consumers but also serve our hospitality partners and neighboring markets such as Nepal and Bangladesh,” said GSS Jagannath, General Manager of Sealy India. “We look forward to expanding Sealy’s distribution network and manufacturing footprint across key regions.”
Sealy now operates a network of 60 manufacturing facilities worldwide, supporting its growth and product reach across multiple markets.
