Shell Lubricants and MOBIS sign regional distribution agreement

Qatar: Shell Lubricants has recently signed a regional lubricants distribution agreement with MOBIS Middle East FZE (MOBIS) to supply exclusive Shell Helix oil products for Hyundai car dealers and consumers in the Middle East, Africa and select CIS countries.

Under the terms of the agreement, MOBIS, spare parts distributors for Hyundai and Kia motors in the region, will benefit from a 3-year deal to distribute Shell Helix HX5 AH to Hyundai dealers and consumers in key markets within the region. The new engine oil product has been co-branded with Hyundai and Shell Helix, and has been developed exclusively for Hyundai petrol and diesel engine cars.

The recent announcement comes on the back of extending the global lubricants agreement between Shell and Hyundai till 2015. Under the extended agreement, Shell will continue to provide Hyundai with both factory and service fill lubricants. Shell and Hyundai will also collaborate on lubricants research and development and joint marketing activities across Hyundai’s service network.
