Shipping Corporation of India Subsidiary Signs MoU to Boost Maritime Capability Development.
A subsidiary of Shipping Corporation of India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Synergy Marine Group to collaborate on maritime capability development, training, and knowledge exchange.
As part of the initial phase, Shipping Corporation of India Lands and Assets Ltd will, through its maritime training institute, partner with Synergy Marine to roll out a Diploma in Nautical Studies programme. The initiative aims to equip cadets with the skills required to meet the operational, safety, and regulatory demands of modern shipping.
A joint working group comprising representatives from both organisations will oversee the implementation of the MoU. The group will focus on areas such as curriculum alignment, training delivery, and the execution of other collaborative initiatives under the framework.
