Sindh Govt approves water supply pipeline project

Karachi: Sindh Government has approved a water supply pipeline project for Site Nooriabad.

Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce Rauf Siddiqui will perform the ground breaking of Rs 1064.133 project on January 29 that would bring water from Keenjhar Lake to Site Nooriabad.

The water pipeline is part of Sindh government's initiative to upgrade facilities in the industrial estates of the province.

This project has been undertaken on the demand of the Nooriabad industrialists who faced water shortage that hampered their industrial processes. Rauf Siddiqui had, at a press conference last month, announced that revival of sick industrial units and establishment of new industries is vital for eradicating poverty and putting the economy back on track.
