Singer Sri Lanka sign deal with SLT for expansion

Colombo: Singer Sri Lanka PLC and Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) have signed an agreement under which Singer Sri Lanka will expand its data network and seamlessly interconnect singer offices, retail outlets, mega shops and service centres located across Sri Lanka.

The deal will facilitate connectivity to rural areas through SLT’s vast broadband network and will connect over 360 branches country wide. SLT targets sale of 3000 Citylink phones and Rs 2 million worth of pre-paid cards per month.

SLT’s IP-VPN Network will also provide seamless connectivity through its nation-wide broadband network, using an array of mediums such as copper, fiber and microwaves.

SLT also tied up with Singer Sri Lanka to expand its sales distribution channel for SLT Citylink CDMA phones and pre-paid products.

The partnership will provide convenience to customers as a result of the expansion of sales outlets through authorised dealer network. These outlets will carry available communication products and household goods under one roof.
