The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has given its approval to 19 new industrial projects, representing a substantial total investment of ₹28,546 crore. These proposed ventures are anticipated to generate employment opportunities for 30,270 individuals across the state.

This latest approval brings the total investments cleared by the SIPB under the NDA Government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to an impressive ₹5,34,684 crore over the past year. These approvals collectively hold the potential to create 473,969 jobs, signaling a strong push for industrial growth and employment generation in Andhra Pradesh.

During the seventh SIPB meeting held in Amaravati on Thursday, Chief Minister Naidu emphasized the importance of local employment. He stated that a majority of the jobs created by these new industries should be allocated to residents of the regions where the projects are established. Furthermore, the Chief Minister underscored that skill development for youth must be a core policy objective, reiterating the coalition government's commitment to fostering balanced development across all parts of Andhra Pradesh.
