SJVN Green Energy Ltd Enters Joint Venture Agreement with APDCL

SJVN Ltd's wholly owned subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), has recently finalized a significant agreement with Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL). On April 8th, 2024, SGEL formally signed a Joint Venture Cum Shareholders Agreement with APDCL.

Under the terms of the agreement, SGEL will acquire a majority stake of 51% in the joint venture company. The primary objective of this joint venture is to focus on the development of renewable energy projects and parks within the geographical domains of APDCL, SGEL, or SJVN, as well as on a nationwide scale.

This collaboration underscores the commitment of both SJVN Green Energy Limited and Assam Power Distribution Company Limited towards advancing renewable energy initiatives and fostering sustainable development in the region and beyond.
