SLMG Beverages Strengthens Presence with New Production Unit in Bihar.

SLMG Beverages Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, on Sunday inaugurated a state-of-the-art greenfield beverage manufacturing facility in Nawanagar in Bihar’s Buxar district, set up with an investment of ₹1,200 crore.

The company said the new plant will significantly strengthen its beverage production capacity in eastern India and enhance supply chain efficiency across the region.

Addressing the launch event as Chief Guest, Samrat Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, said the project reflects the state’s ongoing industrial transformation. “The industrial transformation we are witnessing in Bihar today is the result of initiatives like this state-of-the-art ₹1000+ crore facility established by SLMG Beverages Pvt. Ltd. This will not only strengthen the state’s economy but also create new employment opportunities at the local level,” he said.

Located in Nawanagar, the facility will function as a primary supply hub for the company in Bihar and neighbouring regions, including Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The plant is equipped with seven high-speed production lines and has a total installed capacity of more than 5,000 bottles per minute, positioning it among the major beverage manufacturing units in the region.
