SLMG Beverages to Invest $1 Billion in Coca-Cola Bottling Expansion Over Five Years.
Ladhani Group is set to rapidly scale up its beverage and hospitality businesses, with its subsidiary SLMG Beverages planning a $1 billion (₹8,000 crore) investment over the next five years. The investment will go toward setting up new bottling plants and expanding existing facilities, reinforcing its position as Coca-Cola’s largest independent bottler in India.
SLMG Beverages currently operates in Uttarakhand, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and its newly acquired Bihar territory. “We are among the top 15 bottlers globally for Coca-Cola and aim to break into the top 10 in the coming years,” said Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages.
The company is already developing a new ₹1,200 crore plant in Bihar’s Buxar region and plans to invest an additional ₹1,500 crore in another plant in the state. Further expansion is planned in territories like Uttar Pradesh.
Currently operating eight bottling plants in India, SLMG Beverages expects to run 13-14 large-scale facilities within five years. The company will finance the investment through internal accruals and debt without raising external funds.
Beyond beverages, Ladhani Group is also investing ₹3,000 crore in its hospitality business over the next 3-4 years, aiming to expand its hotel inventory from 500 to 1,500 rooms. The company recently announced two new resorts in Rishikesh, to be managed by The Oberoi Group’s EIH Limited.
