South Central Railway commissions largest Electronic Interlocking System at Gooty along with major yard remodelling.

The project jointly executed by Guntakal and RVNL eases train movements at this major junction handling four direction movements – towards Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Secunderabad/Hyderabad.

Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway has complimented the Officers and Staff of Guntakal division, including RVNL, who were involved in the execution and early completion of this mega Infrastructure facility. Further he opined that the completion of this important work helps railways in smooth handling of trains, while benefiting the rail customers located in this jurisdiction (including the Cement customers) in speedy transportation of their consignments.
