Global automaker Stellantis plans to raise its direct and indirect supplier value in India to ₹10,000 crore by the next fiscal, a sharp increase from the current ₹4,000 crore, CEO and Managing Director Shailesh Hazela said.

The company has so far invested around ₹11,000 crore in the country and operates three manufacturing facilities-in Hosur, Ranjangaon and Thiruvallur. It also runs three ICT centres in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune, along with two R&D centres in Chennai and Pune.

India contributes about 5 per cent to Stellantis’ global volume base of 6 million units. The automaker has also significantly expanded its local component ecosystem, now engaging with 500 domestic suppliers.
