Suzlon Bags 170.1 MW Wind Energy Order from AMPIN for Andhra Pradesh Project.
Suzlon Group, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, announced today it has secured a new order for a 170.1 MW wind power project from AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited. This marks the third consecutive order Suzlon has received from AMPIN, further strengthening their partnership.
The project will be located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, a state that has been a focal point for renewable energy development in India. Under the terms of the contract, Suzlon will supply 54 of its advanced S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs). Each of these turbines will feature Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT) and boasts a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
Suzlon's role in the project extends beyond just equipment supply. The company will be responsible for the complete project execution, encompassing installation and commissioning of the wind turbines. Furthermore, Suzlon will provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services for the long term, ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of the wind farm.
This latest order brings AMPIN Energy Transition's total wind energy orders with Suzlon to an impressive 303 MW, highlighting a growing collaboration in India's renewable energy sector.
