Suzuki Motorcycle India to Invest ₹1,200 Crore in New Haryana Plant.
Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) officially laid the foundation stone on Tuesday for a new manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, Haryana, marking a significant expansion for the two-wheeler maker with an initial investment of ₹1,200 crore.
The new plant, strategically located within the IMT Kharkhoda HSIIDC industrial township and spread across 100 acres, is poised to bolster SMIPL's production capabilities. In its first phase, the facility is projected to have an annual production capacity of 7.5 lakh two-wheelers.
This expansion is a key component of Suzuki Motorcycle India's strategy to address the escalating domestic demand for its products, while simultaneously contributing to local development and job creation in the region.
Operations at the new Kharkhoda plant are slated to commence in 2027, further strengthening SMIPL's manufacturing footprint in India.
