SWREL Secures ₹504 Crore Project in Rajasthan.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has been awarded a ₹504 crore solar project by a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Rajasthan. The project involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 305 MW AC/396 MWp DC photovoltaic plant, highlighting SWREL’s growing prominence in India’s renewable energy sector.

This order marks a repeat engagement with the client, reflecting SWREL's strong foothold in the domestic private IPP market. Global CEO Amit Jain expressed optimism about the company’s growth trajectory, citing robust opportunities from private sector projects and anticipated bids from public sector undertakings (PSUs) in the upcoming quarter.

A leading global provider of end-to-end renewable engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions, SWREL has an extensive portfolio exceeding 20.7 GWp of solar projects across 28 countries, including India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas. The company also manages an operation and maintenance portfolio of 7.8 GWp solar power projects.

This latest project underscores SWREL’s capability to secure significant domestic infrastructure contracts and reinforces its position as a key player in the renewable energy sector.
