"Tata Motors eyes upcoming Central and State government eBus tenders as part of its expansion strategy."

India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tata Motors, recently said it plans to leverage its new product launches to participate in various central and state government schemes, aiming to drive sales growth.

The company unveiled 17 new products across the 7–55 tonne segment, including the all-new Azura series, the Tata Trucks.ev range, and major upgrades to its existing Prima, Signa, and Ultra platforms.

Girish Wagh, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Motors, said the company is also preparing to bid for a government tender for up to 6,000 electric buses (eBuses) to expand market share, while avoiding the steep discounting seen in recent auctions by some competitors.
