Tata Motors sets up e-mobility vertical.

Tata Motors recently announced the establishment of an Electric Mobility Business as it looks to capture the growing demand in the segment, especially from the government.

Shailesh Chandra will lead the Electric Mobility Business in addition to his current responsibility, the company said in a statement.

The creation of this new vertical will enable Tata Motors to deliver on its aspiration of providing innovative and competitive e-mobility solutions, Tata Motors said.

'Tata Motors is optimistic about the future of electric vehicles and would play a leading role in the electric mobility evolution in the country. We will also leverage on the capabilities of other Tata Group companies to develop the full ecosystem and fast-track the adoption of e-mobility,' said Guenter Butschek, Chief Executive Officer and MD, Tata Motors.
