Techno Digital expands footprint with new Mumbai edge data centre.

Techno Digital, the digital infrastructure arm of Techno Electric & Engineering Company (TEECL), has launched a new Edge Data Center in Mahalaxmi, South Mumbai, with an investment of around ₹25 crore.

The facility marks Techno Digital’s second edge data centre in India, after its operational site in Gurugram, as the company expands its presence in the growing low-latency and AI-ready infrastructure segment.

Developed in partnership with RailTel Corporation of India under a 20-year revenue-sharing model, the 800-kW facility is designed to support Mumbai’s financial services, media, and mission-critical operational ecosystems.

The company said the new edge data centre is aimed at meeting rising demand for high-performance digital infrastructure driven by artificial intelligence, cloud adoption, and real-time data processing needs.
