Techwave Consulting to invest $5 million in Hyderabad centre.

Techwave Consulting Inc, a US-based provider of enterprise resource planning, enterprise performance management and business analytics, has established its second office in Hyderabad with an investment of $5 million (Rs 32 crore). The centre will be formally inaugurated by Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao soon.

“The new facility will serve as our global delivery centre (GDC), supporting our global clients,” Rajasekhar Gummadapu, chief operating officer of Techwave, said in a press release.

Besides providing global support, this location enables remote infrastructure management (RIM) services using an integrated monitoring facility built in the new GDC, he said, adding that the company was planning to have 600 people at the new facility this year.

“We are planning to recruit professional for the new location to further develop various technology service practices from Hyderabad. Our goal is to increase our employee base in Hyderabad to 1,000 by the end of 2016,” Gummadapu said.

Techwave, currently a $50-million company, will soon be expanding to Africa, Europe, Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. It is looking forward to continue its growth path by investing in ISMAC (Internet of Things, social media, mobile, analytics and cloud) and digital solutions, according to the release.
