Telangana CM Reddy Calls for Bengaluru-Hyderabad to Be Declared Defence and Aerospace Corridor.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to designate the Bengaluru-Hyderabad region as a Defence and Aerospace corridor, supporting the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Speaking at the inauguration of the LEAP engine MRO and the foundation-laying of the M88 MRO at GMR Aeropark, Reddy highlighted Telangana’s strong industrial and MSME policies, which he said are ranked among the best in the country. He noted that Hyderabad has already emerged as a major Aerospace and Defence hub, hosting over 25 leading global companies and more than 1,500 MSMEs.

Reddy cited global giants such as Boeing, Airbus, Tata, and Bharat Forge, which have established R&D centres in Hyderabad, underscoring the city’s growing prominence in the sector.
