Telangana CM Reddy Urges PM Modi to Extend Support for Key State Projects.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend timely support and grant approvals for key development initiatives under the State’s Telangana Rising Vision programme.

Reddy, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, met the Prime Minister in New Delhi recently. During the meeting, he highlighted that the long-pending approval for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project remains crucial for the State’s infrastructure plans.

The State government has already submitted proposals to expand the metro network to 162.5 km. Seeking approval for the ₹43,848-crore project, Reddy requested that it be taken up as a joint venture between the Centre and the State government to expedite implementation.
