Telangana Signs MoUs for ₹1.5 Lakh Crore Green Energy Investments.
The Telangana government recently signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with multiple companies to set up green energy projects worth over ₹1.50 lakh crore, during the first day of the Telangana Rising Global Summit.
Key agreements include a ₹31,500 crore investment by Axis Energy Ventures, ₹29,800 crore by Greenco, ₹16,000 crore by Ecoren, ₹12,500 crore by AMR India, ₹5,600 crore each by Astha Green Energy and Cerulean Energy, and ₹2,500 crore by United Telecom, according to official sources.
The proposed projects are expected to generate approximately 1.60 lakh direct and indirect jobs, reinforcing the state’s push toward sustainable energy and economic growth.
