Telangana to develop 500-acre industrial park for Chinese firms.
The Telangana government has announced its decision to allocate 500 acres of land to develop a separate Chinese industrial park in the State.
Arvind Kumar, Secretary, State Department of Industries & Commerce, while addressing the CII meeting on Saturday, said, 'We are keen to have a large number of Chinese SMEs at the industrial park.'
CII Telangana organised a luncheon meeting with the Trade Mission from Hunan Province. The 25-member delegation had representatives from government and industry. The meeting was to explore business opportunities between the Hunan Province and Telangana.
He Baoxiang, Vice-Governor of the People’s Government of Hunan Province said Hunan province and Telangana work together in the areas of technology, education and culture. He pointed out that Hunan province was interested in investments in IT software, animation, e-commerce, software development, pharma industry, development of high-tech parks besides others.
