Telangana to procure 500 MW of solar power, invites bids.

The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd. (TSSPDC) has convened a pre-bid meeting for procurement of 500 MW of solar power in Telangana.

The meeting is being convened on September 5 to interact with prospective bidders to clarify conditions and seeking their suggestions.

The bids are being offered in accordance with the directions of the Telangana Government to Discoms to purchase 500 MW of solar power through competitive bidding process, according to G.Raghuma Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of TSSPDC.

The bid documents can be downloaded from the government site and also from the Discom website. The last date for submission of bids is September 26.
