Thermax Subsidiary Secures ₹1,600 Crore Boiler Package Supply Contract.

Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions (TBWES), a subsidiary of Thermax, has secured a ₹1,600 crore order for the supply of a boiler package from a leading thermal power project developer in Central India, the company said in a statement.

The order pertains to a 1x800 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant. The scope of the contract includes manufacturing, supply, commissioning, and performance testing of the boiler package.

TBWES specialises in providing equipment and solutions for steam generation for both process and power applications. Its capabilities span combustion of solid, liquid, and gaseous fuels, as well as heat recovery from turbine and engine exhaust and waste heat from industrial processes.
