Third e-auctioning of iron ore in Goa on May 10.

The third e-auctioning to sell six lakh tonnes of iron ore lying at Goa's port and jetties would be held on May 10, a senior mines official said recently.

'The e-auctioning of six lakh tonnes of the ore which is lying at jetties and Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) would be e-auctioned on May 10,' state director of mines and geology Prasanna Acharya said here.

The department issued the notification for the same recently, giving 12 days time to the bidders to put in their claims for e-auctioning.

The state had already e-auctioned 1.61 million tonnes of ore on February 17 and March 5, collecting revenue of Rs 260.68 crore.
