Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) has approved investments of ₹25 crore each in Raptee Energy, an electric mobility start-up, and Agnikul Cosmos, a space technology start-up, for minority equity stakes. The board cleared the investments on Saturday in the two Chennai-based companies under the TIDCO Startup Investment Policy 2025.
The investments mark the first deployments under the new policy, according to TRB Rajaa, Minister for Industries of Tamil Nadu.
Rajaa handed over the investment approval letters to Dinesh Arjun, CEO and co-founder of Raptee Energy, and Srinath Ravichandran, CEO and co-founder of Agnikul Cosmos.
