Tripura Aims to Transform Into Multinational Trade and Logistics Hub, Says CM
Following the participation in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed the state government's commitment to transforming Tripura into a multinational trade and logistics hub for northeast India in the near future. The Chief Minister, after offering prayers to Lord Ram on Monday, highlighted the pivotal role that upcoming infrastructure projects would play in achieving this vision.
The Agartala-Akhaura rail link and the Maitri Bridge over the river Feni in South Tripura, once operational, are expected to position Tripura as the gateway to Southeast Asia. This transformation is anticipated to significantly enhance trade and employment opportunities, benefiting not only the residents of the state but also potential enterprises in the region.
Chief Minister Saha emphasized the positive strides made since the BJP-led government assumed power in 2018. Notable advancements in infrastructure, communication, public welfare, health, education, industry, sports, agriculture, and culture have created a conducive environment for growth and development. The government's unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order ensures peace and harmony, fostering a conducive atmosphere for progress and prosperity in Tripura.
