TVS Motor Boosts Southeast Asia EV Push with ION Mobility Integration.

TVS Motor Company (TVSM), a prominent manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers, has announced the integration of assets, intellectual property, and core talent from Singapore-based ION Mobility into its operations. The move is aimed at strengthening TVS's electric vehicle (EV) presence in Southeast Asia.

In a statement, TVS Motor described the integration as a strategic step to tap into the region's rapidly growing motorbike market, which it views as a significant opportunity for EV adoption.

TVS had earlier invested in ION Mobility as a strategic partner. The Singaporean firm is a full-stack EV company specializing in industrial design, mechanical and electrical engineering, software, and supply chain solutions.
