Twin IT towers at Kochi will be South’s tallest.

Sands Infinit, twin IT towers with three basements, ground-plus-29-floors and rising to a height of 152 metres, to come up in SmartCity Kochi will be the tallest in South India when completed.

Promoted by Lulu Group International , the project is scheduled to be completed by 2020-end and will give a boost to Kerala’s IT sector with workspace for over 25,000 employees.

With a total built-up area of 36 lakh sq ft, the IT buildings will have three floors of parking space for 4,200 vehicles, high-speed elevators and escalators.

This is one of the largest private development projects in Kerala coming up on 12.74 acres of land in SmartCity Kochi. Once completed, Sands Infinit will be the largest single investment in the IT sector in Kerala at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,200 crore.

The twin tower is expected to become a catalyst for significant job creation and to attract international IT companies, said Manoj Nair, CEO, SmartCity Kochi.

In parallel, planning for developments on the township side of SmartCity Kochi is gaining momentum with the opening of the Phase 1 of the International School in December 2018 and new developer community showing interest in building residential and hospitality projects, he added.
