UP Inks Deal to Bring MotoGP, Asia Road Racing Championship to Buddh International Circuit.

AVW Global, a premium automotive and motorsport consultancy, recently announced the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Transformation Commission to establish a world-class motorcycle racing ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.

Under the unified strategic framework, AVW Global — founded by former MotoGP rider Karel Abraham — will collaborate with the Uttar Pradesh government to facilitate the hosting of premier international championships, including MotoGP and the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), according to an official statement.

The partnership is aimed at strengthening infrastructure, attracting global racing events, and nurturing local talent as part of a long-term vision to develop a robust motorsport ecosystem in the state.

Describing the agreement as a pivotal moment for the motorsport landscape, the statement said the collaboration positions Uttar Pradesh as a future global hub for motorcycle racing.
