Uppercase Bags ₹200 Cr ARR Goal, Sets Up Nashik Manufacturing Unit.

Riding the resurgence in travel demand across India following the pandemic, Mumbai-based luggage brand Uppercase is strategically establishing its own hard luggage manufacturing facility in Nashik. This development was announced by the company's founder and managing director, Sudip Ghose, in a recent interaction with businessline.

"Fueled by our growth trajectory, we are setting up our dedicated hard luggage factory in Nashik. This will be a fully owned facility and is anticipated to commence operations next month," Ghose revealed.

Uppercase distinguishes itself in the competitive luggage market through its commitment to producing smart and sustainable travel gear. The company's hard-backed polycarbonate luggage is manufactured using a blend of virgin and recycled polycarbonate materials, reflecting a focus on environmental responsibility.

Ghose had previously indicated the company's ambitious goal of achieving an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of ₹200 crore. The establishment of this in-house manufacturing unit in Nashik is a significant step towards realizing this target, providing greater control over production processes and potentially enhancing efficiency and scalability.
