"Vodafone Idea plans to deploy ₹45,000 crore in capital over the coming three years, targeting double-digit revenue expansion."

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced plans to invest ₹45,000 crore in its operations over the next three years, aiming to achieve double-digit revenue growth, a threefold increase in cash EBITDA and sustained subscriber additions during the period.

The investment plan follows the Centre’s relief on adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues, which the company said has strengthened its financial position. Speaking during the company’s latest earnings call, Vi CEO Abhijit Kishore said the telecom operator is transitioning from a phase of “survival to strength,” with additional investments expected to take the total planned capital infusion to over ₹60,000 crore.

Outlining the funding strategy, Kishore said Vi is exploring bank funding of around ₹25,000 crore, along with a ₹10,000 crore non-funded facility. He added that the company does not plan to raise equity at this stage.
