Welspun Guj Stahl wins new orders in India, abroad

New Delhi: Welspun Gujarat Stahl Rohren, the Rs 4000 crore high-grade steel pipes maker, has won orders worth Rs 500 crore in Indian and abroad, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

With these orders the current order book position of the company stands at Rs 9,500 crore.

“Even in the current economic scenario, we are proud to bag these outstanding orders. These orders not only reaffirm our position as a sustainable organisation with the ability to meet requirements for the toughest projects but also as one of the leading line pipe making companies in the world,” BK Goenka, Vice chairman and Managing Director Welspun said.
