Welspun Michigan Engineers Secures ₹79.29 Crore Vadodara Drainage Project.

Welspun Michigan Engineers Limited (WMEL), a subsidiary of Welspun Enterprises Limited, has won a ₹79.29 crore contract from the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) for rehabilitating a major drainage line in the city’s West Zone.

The project involves upgrading an 1,800 mm diameter drainage line from Shrenik Park Circle to Akota-Dandiya Bazar Bridge Junction, extending to Atladara STP. Work is set to begin on April 2, 2025, with completion targeted within 12 months, excluding the monsoon period.

This contract strengthens WMEL’s order book, which stood at ₹2,915.42 crore before this deal. With the addition, the company’s total order book now stands at approximately ₹2,994.71 crore, spanning Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) segments.
