"Welspun One Acquires 22-Acre Land on Gurugram-NH8 Corridor for ₹125 Crore to Develop Logistics Park"

Welspun One has acquired 22 acres of land along Bilaspur-Tauru Road in the Gurugram-NH8 corridor for the development of a logistics park, with an investment of ₹125 crore. The project is expected to generate employment for 1,200 to 1,500 people, according to a company statement.

The development aligns with Welspun One’s vision to build state-of-the-art logistics and warehousing facilities that address the diverse needs of businesses across various sectors. Anshul Singhal, Managing Director of Welspun One, emphasized that the acquisition represents a major expansion into one of India's key logistics corridors. "By leveraging this prime location, we aim to create a cutting-edge logistics hub that will enhance operational efficiencies for our tenants and contribute to India’s broader economic growth," Singhal said.

Property consultant JLL India facilitated the deal.

Welspun One is an integrated fund and development management platform focused on delivering large-format, institutional Grade-A logistics and industrial parks across India. It is part of the USD 5 billion Welspun World conglomerate, which has interests in pipes, home textiles, infrastructure, advanced textiles, and flooring solutions.
