Work on key infra projects to begin soon.

The work on two important infrastructure projects-eight-lane corridor at Okalipuram and a grade separator near Devegowda Petrol Bunk will commence soon.

Senior officials of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) said that work on Okalipuram eight-lane corridor would start within a month while the grade separator near Devegowda Petrol Bunk may start soon.

The Rs. 110-crore Okalipuram project was delayed due to land acquisition and as a result the cost has shot up by another Rs. 70 crore. For this project, the BBMP needed Railway land while the Railways wanted Binny Mill land near Seshadripuram.
